iTunes (RED)

 | TrackBacks (1)

Product (RED) is an amazing idea, but many of us don’t want a red iPod, a red Razr, or well, much of anything in red. There is one (RED) product, though, that’s exactly the same as the non-(RED) counterpart: an iTunes Gift Card.

Available in a $25 denomination, $2.50 of each iTunes (PRODUCT) RED Gift Card goes to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. Instead of paying for your iTunes music, movies and TV shows directly with a credit card, I urge you to buy and redeem these cards instead. Every little bit counts, and you give up nothing.

There’s also an added bonus for those of us outside the United States: if you buy these cards on your next trip stateside, you can open an account on the U.S. iTunes Store without a U.S. credit card. You’ll get cheaper prices and access to more music, movies and TV shows than in the iTunes Stores in other countries.
