Knox 1.5 beta updated

 | Comments (1)

We just pushed out Knox 1.5b2, fixing the known issues left in beta 1. If you are a Knox beta tester, get it from the usual location. If you are a Knox customer but didn’t get a beta invitation, contact me for the beta URL.

To recap, Knox 1.5 adds support for full-disk encryption (FDE) — although the feature is called “whole-disk vaults” in Knox. In the New Vault dialog, you can turn any non-boot volume into a Knox vault that gets opened automatically whenever you plug in the disk. It’s a match made in heaven for USB memory sticks, and we hope to ship it really, really soon now as a free upgrade to all Knox owners.
