Adobe can’t ship free features either

Looks like Apple isn’t the only company interpreting the regulations this way: “Adobe is not allowed to ship what could be defined as a ‘new feature’ for a paid-for product for free. There is something called revenue recognition and the way that monies are accounted for.” I wonder what the companies think of this. Insane or insanely convenient?
